Nejapa Golf & Country Club (Ticuantepe) – this golf club, located just a half hour southeast of Managua, was founded back in 1940 (enduring the 1972 earthquake, as well as damage during the country’s civil war period later in time). Renovation efforts didn’t start until 1998 (with a new opening in 2001). Nowadays, Nejapa has an 18-hole golf course, driving range, chipping area, practice green and four tennis courts with floodlights. Services offered at this Nicaraguan golf course include golf carts, caddies, lessons, a pro shop and bag storage. Other great facilities enjoyed by golfing patrons are the “19th Hole” bar, a sports bar, formal dining room with bar, meeting rooms, showers, lockers and a lovely swimming pool.
